The Moroccan zellige is a mosaic, mainly from the Fez region of Morocco, used to decorate walls and sometimes also floors.
The zellige has the particularity of being composed of elements from pieces of colored and enamelled terracotta that are cut and cut by hand to be assembled one by one on a bed of mortar and form geometric assembly of colors.
